Ventilation duct cleaning

Our method of cleaning ventilation ducts by friction and suction is the most efficient and widely used in the cleaning industry. A high-speed negative air scrubber is installed near your furnace or on the main air return. This suction machine pulls at a rate of around 5000 cubic feet per minute (CFM). To compare, home appliances suck at around 100 to 150 (CFM). In addition we use rotating brushes, air nozzles and nozzles with integrated whisks to rub and brush your ducts. We will use the right tools in accordance to your ducts. These tools also push a strong jet of air to drive the dust to our air scrubber. It is advisable to disinfect your ducts following a thorough cleaning process. We utilize a botanical disinfectant approved by Health Canada, specifically the brand BENEFECT. This disinfectant is composed of 100% natural thyme and is safe for use in various environments, including hospitals, schools, and restaurants. The product is sprayed into the ducts, effectively eliminating bacteria and mold spores to ensure healthier indoor air quality. We suggests that our clients have their vents cleaned once every 4-5 years. It is also important to clean up if you have been damaged by water or fire, when moving to a new house and when renovating.

Air exchanger cleaning

Well maintained, this device allows you to breathe better. Fresh air is distributed through ducts where many kinds of impurities accumulate that could harm your health. A rod is inserted into your ducts to blow out dirt from the end of the duct. In addition to blowing air, this rod acts like a whip to dislodge impurities. Finally, an air scrubber is installed to capture all dust and impurities. We also spray an antibacterial product to eliminate any mold and bacteria lingering in your ducts.

Dryer duct cleaning

Cleaning the dryer duct is often overlooked, but regular maintenance can reduce drying time and electricity bills. Lint buildup can lead to appliance breakdowns and fire hazards. We use the pulse technique with a powerful air compressor to effectively clear lint and dust from the duct. Recommendations for cleaning your dryer duct differs. The use of the dryer, the length of your ducts and the number of elbows will allow us to tell you when you need to clean it. According to statistics, every year approximately 15,000 fires are caused by lint buildup in dryers. However, there are several warning signs: your clothes take considerably longer than usual to dry. Your laundry stays wet. The dryer vent outlet appears to be clogged on the outside or your unit is overheating.
